To all who are creating the din on "flying" outriggers:
 
Continuing the dialogue of making outriggers touch less and less, and 
considering having one in and the other out, and so on,
 
The absolute best way to counter the tipping moment of a long unstable  
monohull is to use AMMAVONS. Counter the tipping moment with a surface skimmer 
"sweep" and completely retract them when there is no tipping. That is the 
best solution with the least drag. 
 
It is the absolute coolest feeling to be surging forward with only the 
monohull in the water in between corrections made from swivel-retractable 
outriggers.
