The idea with the faux-tri is to get a slender hull in the water but  
use outriggers just above the water level for stabilising.  The top  
part provides more room than a long slender hull but is shorter and  
more practical for a trailer.

The linesplan on this link might give you a better idea. From the in- 
water perspective it is just a heavier version of V11J.
