... the most awsome application was using Cyclone (through the gears and with saggy batteries so 15-25 A yielded a power of around 200-300 W) on a velomobile. The small wheels on a velomobile makes it less useful on tracks with bad surface, but the assist, in spite of low power, makes all the difference. Tracks that I very reluctantly use with pedal only was enjoyable with assist. The more even power from the assist makes it possible to climb tracks uphill that is so steep and with such dirt that you would normally just stop midway spinning while pedalling. With just a touch of assist, the velomobile flies up that impossible hill...
